I was at the backseat of my classmate's car together with my other friends and we're heading back to hostel after the lecture ended. That was the time when I received a text message from the operator that I subscribed reminding me to settle the outstanding bill worth RM350! I was effing shocked staring at the huge amount. Never in my life my usage reached that amount. As far as I recall, my maximum usage was only RM50. No more than that.
I went online and double-checked my account and again I was astounded when I discovered my billing statement has a long list of unknown called numbers. I went through each of the numbers and I can only recognized few numbers that I familiar with. The rest are all unknown numbers! Crap!
Then, I called my dad and told him about it. Dad was also shocked. I asked my dad's favour to go and terminate my account immediately as I was not sure the location of the nearest branch of the provider. Dad agreed. At about 6.50 pm my account was finally terminated. Dad gave me a call through my other number and told me that the officer at the provider's branch in KK initially didn't allow the termination to be made unless he has paid the outstanding bill. Dad told me that he had quite an argument over the issue and decided not to pay a single cent to the company. At last, they gave up and my dad managed to terminate my account without having to fork out a huge amount of money from his wallet.
Having my postpaid account being terminated, I made up my mind and decided to go for prepaid...*sigh*
jee..you can ask the branch to check the anon numbers ya...that's one of the problem using postpaid..but i still believe that postpaid is the best for me! hee
